Eligibility and Re-evaluation Rules
Students passing at least three out of five compulsory Class 10 subjects are placed under the “Essential Improvement” category and may reappear in up to two failed subjects.
Candidates failing in three or more compulsory subjects are categorised under “Essential Repeat” and are not eligible for the improvement examination cycle.
According to board guidelines, practical examination marks and internal assessment scores from the main examination are generally carried forward.
