Delhi University PG Admissions
Delhi University has commenced postgraduate admissions through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-PG) for the 2026–27 session. According to the CSAS(PG) 2026 Guidelines and the DU Admission Bulletin 2026, admissions to most two-year postgraduate programmes will be based on CUET PG 2026 scores.
The university has introduced an automated integration system through DigiLocker and API Setu, allowing personal and examination details to be retrieved from official records. The measure is intended to reduce data-entry errors during registration.
A one-time category correction facility has also been introduced. Candidates may update their social category details if they possess valid supporting documents. The facility does not permit modifications to PwBD status.

One-Year Master’s Programmes Approved
Delhi University has approved one-year postgraduate programmes for eligible graduates who have completed a four-year undergraduate degree under the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) framework.
According to university decisions linked to the implementation of NEP 2020, admissions to these programmes will be based on undergraduate academic performance rather than CUET PG scores. The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to align Indian postgraduate education with the multiple academic pathways envisioned under the policy.
A separate admission process for these programmes is expected to be announced by the university.
International Admissions and Academic Mobility
Foreign applicants continue to be admitted through the Foreign Students’ Registry (FSR), which operates separately from the CUET admission process. Admission procedures are outlined in the FSR Admission Brochure 2026.
The university has also approved a Semester Away Programme that will allow eligible students to spend one semester at a foreign institution and transfer approved academic credits toward their degree. Special Examination Provision and Sports Admissions
DU has announced a special provision for candidates who were unable to appear for examinations held on May 28 due to Eid-ul-Zuha observances. Eligible students may be permitted to reappear after July 4, subject to university procedures and departmental approval.
For sports quota admissions, physical proficiency trials are scheduled from July 31 to August 4, 2026, according to the university’s sports admission guidelines.
