Delhi University (DU) has begun Phase 2 of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for undergraduate admissions for the 2026–27 academic session. Based on CUET UG 2026 scores, this phase allows eligible applicants to complete subject mapping and submit their preferred programme and college combinations through the university’s CSAS portal.

What Happens During Phase 2?
Phase 2 begins with subject mapping, where applicants match the subjects studied in Class 12 with the corresponding CUET UG papers. This process determines programme eligibility under the university’s admission rules. The General Test, where applicable, is treated as a separate eligibility component and cannot replace subject-specific mapping.
Once subject mapping is complete, the CSAS portal displays all eligible programme and college combinations. Candidates may select multiple eligible preferences and arrange them in their preferred order. The final saved list is automatically locked after the submission deadline.
Simulated Ranks and Seat Allocation
Before the first allocation round, Delhi University will publish simulated ranks to provide an indicative view of each candidate’s position based on submitted preferences and available merit data. A short preference reordering window will follow, allowing applicants to revise the sequence of their existing choices before final seat allocation.
The allocation process considers programme-specific CUET merit, reservation category, seat availability and the candidate’s locked preference order.

After Seat Allotment
Candidates allotted a seat must accept it within the prescribed timeline. The allotted college will verify submitted documents online, after which the admission fee must be paid to confirm the provisional admission.
