About the Donors
Historical Background
Dr. Naresh Chand Gupta graduated from IIT Kanpur’s Department of Computer Science and Engineering in 1988. He later earned his Master’s and Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park, where his research focused on artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning and automated planning.
He went on to establish Adobe India, helping develop one of the company’s major research and development centres. During his leadership, engineering teams in India contributed to products including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Captivate, Photoshop Elements and Acrobat.
