Industry Academia Leadership Conclave
Historical Event: Held in Bengaluru on 10 July.
The Industry Academia Leadership Conclave brought together CEOs, Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs), talent acquisition leaders, academic heads and senior industry executives to examine how universities and employers can strengthen collaboration beyond conventional campus recruitment.
The discussions focused on curriculum alignment, lifelong learning, leadership development and workforce preparedness. According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025, skills gaps remain one of the principal barriers to business transformation, while many existing workplace skills are expected to evolve by 2030. Round Table Conclave Explores Changing Workplace Expectations
The ATLAS Round Table Conclave, titled Bridging the Chasm, featured HR leaders from organisations including Aditya Birla Capital, Asian Paints, JM Financial, Prime Focus Technologies, Reliance Brands, Spotify and VMLY&R. The session was moderated by former Novartis India executive Ranjit Shahani.
Speakers discussed the emergence of a “web workforce,” where professionals may contribute to multiple organisations simultaneously. Hybrid and remote work models, responsible use of workplace technology and employee privacy also featured prominently in the discussions.
While acknowledging the growing role of AI and workforce analytics, participants emphasised that technology should complement human decision-making and be implemented transparently and responsibly.
ATLAS HR Conclave 2025
Organised under the theme “Shaping the Future of Work and Talent,” the ATLAS HR Conclave 2025 brought together HR leaders from organisations including KPMG, Macquarie, Jio, LTIMindtree, Globant, Morgan Stanley, Crompton and JSW.
The roundtable discussions examined employability, organisational readiness, hybrid work, leadership development and evolving workforce expectations. A dedicated AI masterclass demonstrated how digital HR platforms can support recruitment, employee engagement and workforce analytics while reinforcing a human-centred approach to leadership.
