The Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination (BBOSE) has released the examination schedule for the June 2026 session for Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) programmes. The schedule covers theory and practical examination dates, shift timings, examination-day instructions and information related to admit cards and results. BBOSE provides an alternative route to school education for learners who are unable to pursue regular schooling. Theory Examination Timings

Practical Examination Schedule
Practical examinations for both classes will be held on July 25, July 27 and July 28, 2026. No practical examinations are scheduled on Sunday, July 26.

Candidates should confirm the venue and reporting time for practical examinations with their respective study centres.
Admit Card Information
According to the latest information, the Dummy Admit Card is expected to be released during July 2026, followed by the Final Admit Card before the commencement of the examinations. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket using their Enrollment Number and Date of Birth once it is activated on the official portal.
A printed copy of the admit card is mandatory at the examination centre. Digital copies displayed on mobile devices will not be accepted.

Entry to examination centres will close 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the examination.

Candidates are expected to comply with all examination regulations issued by the board.
Special Provisions for Divyang Candidates
Eligible candidates who are unable to write independently may use a scribe. As per the available guidelines, the scribe should have an educational qualification below the matriculation level and should be arranged through the concerned District Education Officer (DEO). Eligible candidates will also receive 20 minutes of additional time for every hour of the examination.
Passing Criteria
For the Senior Secondary examination, candidates must obtain at least 33% marks in each subject. In subjects with practical examinations, the minimum qualifying marks must be secured separately in both theory and practical components.
Result Timeline
The results for the June 2026 session are tentatively expected to be declared in January 2027. The board will announce the final result date through an official notification.
