University of London’s Proposed Hyderabad Campus
Among the reported proposals, the University of London is considered one of the most advanced. Publicly available reports indicate that the university has submitted an application to the UGC. If regulatory approvals are granted, admissions are expected to commence during the 2027 academic session.
The proposal indicates that academic operations would initially begin from a temporary facility at the Lake View Government Guest House in Somajiguda before moving to a permanent campus planned within the proposed Education Zone of Bharat Future City.
The University of London is a federal institution comprising several internationally recognised member universities, including King’s College London, London Business School and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Newcastle University Explores Collaboration
A delegation from Newcastle University recently met representatives of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) to discuss academic collaboration and future opportunities in Hyderabad.
