The University of Hyderabad (UoH), a Central University established by the Government of India, has invited applications for admission to its undergraduate and five-year integrated postgraduate programmes for the 2026–27 academic session. As per the University’s official admission notification, selection will be based on CUET (UG) 2026, JEE Main 2026 or NEET, depending on the programme.
The admission process is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which promotes multidisciplinary education and flexible learning pathways. According to the University’s Approved Intake for 2026–27, a total of 620 seats are available across undergraduate and integrated programmes. Of the total intake, 470 seats are filled through the CUET (UG) admission process. The adoption of CUET follows the national framework for standardising undergraduate admissions across Central Universities.

For CUET-based admissions, the University uses a Qualifying Paper and Core Paper evaluation system. Applicants must secure the prescribed minimum marks in the qualifying subjects, while the final merit list is prepared using marks obtained in the designated core papers.

NEP 2020 and Academic Flexibility
In line with NEP 2020, eligible learners enrolled in integrated programmes may exit after three years with a bachelor’s degree or after four years with a bachelor’s degree (Honours/Honours with Research), subject to the University’s academic regulations. Those completing all ten semesters receive the integrated master’s degree.
