Session: FY 2026-27
The Central Bank of India has announced the engagement of 4,500 apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for the financial year 2026-27. The programme is designed to provide graduates with practical exposure to banking operations through a structured training arrangement lasting one year.
Apprenticeship programmes are increasingly used across the banking sector as part of workforce development initiatives. They provide industry exposure and work-based learning opportunities while helping institutions develop trained talent. The apprenticeship does not constitute regular employment and does not guarantee future appointment in the bank.
